Synopsis

This book strives to understand how Brazilian education became embedded in the New Education International Movement. It seeks to position Brazil within a polycentric circuit by blurring the points of departure and arrival of pedagogical innovations, valuing local appropriations, and reconfiguring both geographic and epistemological territories through the tracing of educators’ travels, pedagogical print materials, and their connections with organizations.
