Interview of Naomar Almeida-Filho on Georges Cabanis Reproduced in Cuadernos Médico-Sociales

Presigious Chilean medical journal Cuadernos Médico-Sociales has reproduced the 2022 interview of Naomar Almeida-Filho on his book about Georges Cabanis. The interview, titled “Pourquoi l’histoire de l’éducation a-t-elle oublié Georges Cabanis ?” was conducted by Université de Montréal emeritus professor Gilles Bibeau and published in French in the fall 2022 issue of Encounters. Cuadernos Médico-Sociales translated the interview into Spanish and has published it in its 2024 issue, available here.

Almeida-Filho’s book, The Revolution of Georges Cabanis: A Forgotten Education Reform in Post-Enlightenment France, is available through the Encounters Monograph Series
